I loved everything about Sarah and Adrian’s wedding. Adrian married his Canadian sweetheart in South Africa and the guests were from all over the world including the UK where the two of them are currently living and working. I loved the blue shoes, I loved the bridesmaids’ black dresses, the fact that the two of them are obviously adored by their friends and family. But what I loved most was Sarah’s smile! I have photographed a lot of very happy and glowing brides (and a few not so glowing), but Sarah is the most exuberant bride I have seen to date. The only time she didn’t smile was when she teared up walking down the isle to her groom in waiting. And throughout the day you could see in Adrian’s eyes that this was truly the love of his life. It was beautiful to witness.
Their ceremony was planned to take place on an island on the Vaal river, but since the river was in flood there was no sign of any island! The staff of Riverside Hotel did a very good job to execute Plan B. Everything turned out beautifully, even the weather!
Thank you also to Kat Forsyth for being my second shooter on the day. You can see her lurking in the background as the couple enters the reception
Wow! These are fantastic. I’m of the opinion that this is some of the best work that you’ve done to date. Really well done. I am sure the couple will be estatic. Keep on excelling!
