Kari & Jaco at La Petite Auberge – Part 1
Kari & Jaco’s wedding at La Petite Auberge was something very special. I was teary-eyed most of the day and just hoped that the camera’s focus was going to be ok. Kari personified the word “bride” in so many ways – beautiful, soft, innocent, blissful, radiat – the list can go on.
The days leading up to the wedding were not without incident for Kari. A burst vein in her one eye, a cut on her hand and a bee sting! Poor girl. But she didn’t let any of these things spoil her most beautiful day. She was an absolute vision in a dress that suited her personality to a tee. She reminded me so much of Grace Kelly in those beautiful romantic old movies I used to watch as a little girl. And a more modern day diva, certainly Reece Witherspoon.
I will be posting more photos in a few days, since there are just too many fantastic ones to share in one post.
I enjoyed every moment I spend with Kari and the girls and Juan and I had so much fun later with Jaco and Kari. You truly did make me feel like family. A special thank you to Kari’s mom, Zaan for her friendliness and warmth throughout.

Ek het vir Kari in gr5 laas gesien toe ons uit Belfast getrek het, sy onthou my seker gladnie!….haar gesig het nie verander nie, maar sy het ‘n vrou gewrod! Pragtige mens!
