Anel & Francois at Casablanca Manor

It has been said that happy marriages begin when we marry the ones we love, and they blossom when we love the ones we marry. It was clear to me that Anel and Francois are deeply and love and that there is a mutual understanding and respect for each other that will cement their marriage in years to come. We celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Casablanca Manor, just outside Pretoria. Walking out of the chapel after the ceremony, there was a light drizzle that threatened to spoil our fun during the couple shoot, but it soon subsided and we had a glorious time among Casablanca’s lavish lavender and Moroccan mystery.

I love that purple is making such a strong come-back in wedding decor. It is so dramatic and versatile. Purple is the color for royalties. It stands for luxury, wealth, and sophistication. It is also the color of passion, romance and sensitivity. So perfect for a wedding and for a couple that possesses all three these qualities. And I thought Francois looked dashing in his purple shirt and no jacket. Even in smallest of detail, like the delicate purple rose around Anel’s neck, it was evident that this wedding was well planned and thought through. Congratulations to you both. May your love be as strong and beautiful as it was on this beautiful day you vowed to be together for a lifetime.
