Melinda & Brian got married at the beautiful Avianto in Muldersdrift. It is impossible not to take awesome photos there, but then again, having an attractive couple does help too. As she walked down the isle on her dad’s arm it was wonderful to watch a teary eyed Brian welcoming her to his side. Melinda in return became very emotional when they exchanged vows – a sight I absolutely love to see and document. Brides, please don’t try to fight back the tears, I can’t think of anything worse than an unemotional bride
This is the one day where emotions must show because these are the thoughts and feelings you will want to remember.
Thank you to my second shooter, Melanie Wessels. Be sure to check out her website for more photos as well. And Melinda & Brian – thank you for sharing your stunning day with us. We enjoyed every moment and I hope your photos are a testimony of the beautiful love you share.

Leigh and Travis are South Africans living in London. They got married in December last year and since they were visiting with family this August they decided to have a couple shoot together. We met at Everwood Country Weddings on Thursday just before sunset. Travis has got a real model look about him – he actually was a hair model for L’Oreal a few years back when he had long locks. And gorgeous Leigh – what can one say – beauty is a very common thing in this family. I did her sister’s Candice & Gary’s wedding in Kenya last year. The one is as beautiful as the other.
I hope that when Leigh and Travis are having their vows renewed in SA in a few months time that I will be right there to capture it! And I wish you a marriage that is blessed with many many happy years of loving and appreciating each other.

What can I say? I just have the THE coolest clients. We did Anel & Francois’ pre-wedding shoot on Sunday at the botanical gardens. I thought Anel’s torn jeans just immediately puts her in the cool catergory. And so does Francois’ scar showing through his short hair – don’t you think it adds so much character? It was the first time I have met them but I warmed up to them immediately. They are totally relaxed with each other and willing to try almost everything.
I like asking the guys to jump off stuff while the woman should look on, seemingly disinterested, even mildly irritated. I have never had a girl getting the expression right as perfectly as do Anel in that particular image – what do you think?
Thanks for a fun-filled afternoon. You guys rock and I am looking forward to your wedding. Anel & Francois are getting married at Casablanca Manor in November.
