When Michelle contacted me to shoot her wedding, she made me feel like I was the best things since sliced bread. Even on the wedding day her whole family was going on and on about the “fantastic wedding photographer” she managed to hire. I mean, whoa no pressure, right?? Luckily she and her handsome groom, Werner make such a pretty pair that it didn’t take much effort from my side to make them look good.
Michelle had quite a few major hiccups on the morning of the wedding, but she didn’t let it spoil her big day at all. In fact, she took it in her stride. Once you had a baby, you tend to not sweat the small stuff. Their very cute little son, Ashley made the day even more special and even though he was initially very camera shy, he warmed up to be eventually for a few great captures.
They had their wedding at a venue named Lala Manzi in Vanderbijlpark.
Thank you for choosing me as your photographer and having Juan and myself there to witness your beautiful union. We wish you all the happiness and love you can handle.

It is no secret – I love Cape Town! My husband and I, both. We spend so much time there, we might as well just move there. And we will – it’s definitely in the cards for us. Apart from the amazing landscapes in Cape Town (sea, mountains, wine lands), I also love its people. I have quite a few good friends residing in the beautiful Cape (and they know how much I envy them!). One of these good friends, is fellow-photographer Jani-Mari Breedt. At the moment Jani is my favourite South African wedding photographer, and I am also very proud to say that she shot my own wedding to my wonderful husband, Derek when we eloped in 2010 to Plettenberg Bay.
I was therefore very keen when Jani invited me to shoot the wedding of David and Marené with her while we were in the Cape over the December holidays. Thank you Jani, for affording me the opportunity to hang out with you and experience what it feels like to be a Cape Town wedding photographer! I won’t lie – I loved it! And I can definitely see myself doing more Cape Town weddings.
Apart from amazing Jani, I also had the pleasure of meeting Karla Oettler from Absolute Wedding & Event Coordination and I have to say, everything I have heard about this spunky lady is true – a true professional with a creative flair that enhances every wedding she coordinates with beautiful sophistication and stylish finishes. As you will see from the images, it is true eye candy!
I have decided that in order for me to shoot Cape Town weddings I won’t add traveling and accommodation cost to my packages for Cape Town weddings. (I mean what are family and friends for if you can’t lie on their necks from time to time, lol!) So, if you are a Cape Town bride that’s come across my website – I want to shoot your wedding and all extras are on me!
See you in Cape Town soon!

Deidré and Allan’s wedding at Buitengeluk was the last of 2011 and ended the year on a high note. Deidré got dressed at her parent’s house with her two sisters assisting in the getting-ready rituals. It is evident that Deidré’s dad is very proud of his three beautiful daughters and the love shared among this family is heartwarming.
Their love story begin at university where they both studied law. Among some other startling similarities in their past, they discovered that their dads studied together years back and were actually quite good friends. So the friends got reunited and Allan basically had it easy from there getting into Deidre’s dad’s good books!
Deidré arrived at church in a gorgeous old Ford vintage car. On their way from the church to the reception they had everyone staring at them as they whisked by in this classy old lady.
Allan and Deidré, you are amazing. Times seven. To the tenth power. Thank you SO much for sharing your beautiful day with us. May your days be filled with all the things that will keep you together for a lifetime! God bless.
