Morrels Boutique Venue: The wedding of Cornelia & Johan
I had such a blast photographing the wedding of Johan and Cornelia at the gorgeous Morrells wedding venue in Northcliff. Cornelia is the kind of girl that every woman wants as a best friend. She has the most sparkling personality I have ever come across and the camera loved her to death! This girl just wants to pose, I didn’t have any trouble whatsoever getting her to flirt with the camera – she was a wedding photographer’s dream come true!
Johan adores his new wife, it is written all over his face when he looks at her. It is weddings like this one that really makes me love my job. These two are a match made in heaven and all their family and friends will testify to that.
I was also blessed to have had my wonderful husband, Derek, as my second shooter on the day. He surprised me with a few kick-ass shots that I have included in this post. Thank you my love. And thank you to Cornelia and Johan for trusting me with your memories and being such utterly delightful hosts. May your days be filled with warmth, love and laughter.

Die Akker – Ajana & Arno
Ajana and Arno got married at the beautiful, Die Akker venue just outside Pretoria. They are the sweetest couple you will ever meet. Ajana was such a relaxed bride, it didn’t look like she was about to walk down the isle in a few hours when I arrive at the bridal suite. She has a sophistication about her, in the classic Grace Kelly way. I loved the way her hair was done, nothing over the top – understated yet perfectly elegant.
When Ajana reached the end of the isle on her dad’s arm it was the sweetest thing to watch as both bride and groom became overwhelmed with tears and emotion – there is no doubt in my mind that they adore each other and that this love, however strong at this point, will grow in future into something even more beautiful and steadfast.
