Candice and Dustin are one of those couples that make you feel completely at ease in their company because their love of life is totally contagious. These two are from Gauteng and it was their dream to have their wedding on the beach. But Mother Nature had other plans on the day. With gusts of wind reaching 35 knots, their ceremony had to be moved indoors. They took it all in their stride. Candice looked a vision in a beautiful frilled gown and oh so stunning hairdo. Dustin was very clearly smitten as his beautiful bride walked down the aisle! We desperately wanted to get onto the beach for the couple shoot but it was pure torture and this very brave twosome had to give up on that idea after only a few minutes. We had to seek out the shelter of a balcony and still managed to get beautiful seascapes in the background. All’s well ends well!
Thank you for being such fun to work with and for having me there to capture your beautiful day. I wish you many years of fun and laughter together and may your windy wedding day always remind you of how well you are able to brave the storms together!
Thank you to my friend and fellow-photographer, Elrike Gericke for the lovely cake cutting sequence!
