Geraldine looked very relaxed, almost serene when I entered the room she was getting dressed in. And why would it be different, she was marrying the love of her life, after all. The weather was perfect on this wedding day and she looked a vision in her beautiful dress of tafetta and lace. Morné was of course equally charming as he waited with baited breath in front of the chapel for guests to take their places so that the moment would arrive for him to see his beautiful bride. Geraldine’s dad looked so proud walking her down the aisle and the ceremony paid tribute to a love that was pure and strong, a unity that was locked with God as their foundation.
The rest of the day was as all weddings should be, a party to be remembered! Thank you for allowing me the privilege to be part of your special day and to capture these moments that will remain dear to you for the rest of your married lives. I hope you enjoy your photos as much as I enjoyed creating them!
Thank you to James Dekker for assisting me as second shooter on the day. You were a great support as always.
